1987年以来中国城市进入快速的社会经济转型期，国有单位的市场化改革、经济全球化、乡城迁移等多种力量将城市推入急剧的转型过程之中，称之为“转型城市”；城市社会阶层分化加剧、居住空间日趋隔离、旧城区拆迁安置补偿等问题成为当前困扰中国城市可持续发展、构建和谐社会的主要问题，并且这些问题日趋“空间化”，脱离具体空间来解决城市问题变得不切实际。鉴于此，“转型城市”在很长一段时间内将成为管理学、地理学、城市规划、社会学等学科亟待研究的中心课题。 - 关键词：
社会经济转型期；“转型城市”； - Abstract: China has been in socio-economic transition since 1987. Multi-forces, such as the market reformation of work unit, the economic globalization, the rural-urban migration, pushed the city into the rapid transition process, which could be defined as 憈ransitional city? Some problems, such as social stratification, residential segregation, old city renewal, have been the barriers to the sustainable development of Chinese cities. Considering the 憇pecialization of urban social problems? it is impossible to deal with the urban problems neglecting the space dimension. So the transitional city would be existed for a long time, much attention should be paid to the traditional city form geography, city planning, sociology and urban management.
