SWOT分析法是通过了解自己组织的优势与弱势的基础上，将组织内部资源因素与外部因素造成的机会与风险进行合理有效的匹配，从而制定良好的战略，以掌握外部机会，规避威胁的一种经济管理学方法。因其自身独特的思考性质和方法，正在为城市规划研究领域逐步借鉴。本文通过对几个城市规划战略分析中SWOT分析法的应用案例和总结，为当前城市规划特别是战略规划的分析研究工作引入了一个新的高效的思维工具。 - 关键词：
SWOT分析法；城市规划战略分析 - Abstract: According to the introduction of the characteristics of SWOT-analyses and the illustration of the cases in Shanghai Yangpu District, Zhongshan and Wuhan, the paper studies the important application of SWOT-analyses in urban planning and urban design, especially in strategic analyses and policies making.
