在系统总结国内城市化基础理论、城市化与空间发展、城市化与社会经济发展主要研究领域与成果的基础上，结合国内外城市化研究态势，着重从城市化理论和方法体系建设、城市化水平衡量研究、体现区域差异性的城市化发展方针研究、城市社会空间结构研究、城市郊区化的实证与利弊分析、快速城市化地区城乡社会转型研究与加强城市化过程与全球环境变化（GEC）相互作用分析等7个方面来展望我国城市化研究的发展。 - 关键词：
城市化；回顾；展望； - Abstract: After reviewing research progress on urbanization basis theories, urbanization and spatial development, urbanization and social and economic development, the authors lay emphasis on prospect of the future research from seven aspects as follows: construction of urbanization academic and methodological systems, measurement of the urbanization level, urbanization developmental measures stressing on regional differences, urban social spatial structure, research on demonstrations and advantages and disadvantages of suburbanization, society transformation in fast urbanizing area and interaction between urbanization process and global environment change (GEC).
