城市文化建设是中国城市发展的现实要求，与中国社会全面转型的背景相适应，公共文化的建构是当下文化转型中的核心内容之一。本文采取从文化视角探讨城市设计的路径，目的是研究城市设计促进公共文化发展的可能性。以定性分析研究方法，归纳了基于公共文化理念的若干城市设计指标，根据这些基本指标，建立城市设计的一个基本分析框架，以此作为分析评价城市设计是否可以促进公共文化、促进理想城市场所形成的标准。 - 关键词：
公共文化；指标；框架 - Abstract: Cultural construction is the
p ra c tic al r eq uir emen ts in ur b an
development. Public culture is one of the
core issues in culture transition in China.
This paper summed a number of indicators
of urban design based on the concept
of public culture. According to these
indicators, a basic analytical framework
of urban design is establishment as the
way to analyses and evaluate on whether
urban design can promote public culture
or promote to form the ideal city place.
