收缩城市的研究已经在西方国家开展多年，发生收缩的背景和原因也各有差异。作为城市发展的一个阶段，中国部分城市也发生了人口收缩。本文利用2000和2010年乡镇街道尺度的人口数据，对中国收缩城市进行了识别、分类和影响因素分析，并针对中国收缩城市自身的特点，提出初步的对策建议和规划设计应对。最后从中国收缩城市的深度探测、典型收缩城市研究、规划应对手段以及研究网络的发展四个方面提出了中国收缩城市研究的研究框架。 - 关键词：
外来务工人员；迁移特征；基本公共服务需求；南京市中和桥社区； - Abstract: As one of urban development stages, shrinking cities featuring population loss have been extensively explored in western countries like Germany, USA, UK and Japan. Some of Chinese cities are experiencing population shrinking, which has been identified by using the population census data in 2000 and 2010 in this paper. We then classify these shrinking cities into various types, and influencing factors are identified with a multi-liner regression model. Policy recommendations and planning tool kits are suggested for Chinese shrinking cities, given the special conditions of these cities like shrinking level, urban expansion ratio as well as economy development rate. We finally propose the research agenda for future research on Chinese shrinking cities.
