目前国内城市轨道交通系统的建设模式在很大程度上限制了它的公共服务效能，中西部地区在城市发展水平上相对落后，应当在充分借鉴国内外城市轨道交通发展经验的基础上，努力打破思维定式，通过充分发挥快速轨道交通对城市空间结构的强力引导作用，使其成为真正支撑中西部城市长期和可持续发展的重要动力。 - 关键词：
城市轨道交通；中西部地区；城市空间结构； - Abstract: At present, the construction mode of urban rail transit system in China greatly limits its public service efficiency. The middle-western regions are relatively backward in the city development level. They should try to break the mindset, based on the experience of urban rail transit development at home and abroad. And by giving full play to the strong guiding role of rapid rail transit on urban spatial structure, they should make it become an important driving force for the sustainable development of the city.
