城市收缩现象正出现在包括中国在内的世界多地。国内以往的研究多聚焦于增长主义下的城镇化研究，而城市收缩相关研究较少。基于此，本文以转型期中国东北地区为例开展城市收缩典型地区研究。首先，基于人口、DMSP/OLS 夜间灯光数据等多维度，从地级、县级等多尺度，采用 ArcGIS、数理统计等方法量化识别收缩现象，发现东北地区收缩呈现全域性、非均衡性、发展悖论性和假性收缩等特征。然后，结合转型期社会背景，从人口、经济、体制等的全域性衰退，地理环境及气候的局限性，“增长主义”政府及规划倾向和频繁的行政区划调整四个方面论述本地区收缩及其特征的具体成因。最后，展望未来应强化城市收缩的量化识别科学方法和本土化、城市规划转型、收缩城市的可持续发展等方面的研究。 - 关键词：
城市收缩；量化识别；多维度、多尺度；成因；东北地区； - Abstract: Nowadays, the phenomenon of urban shrinkage is emerging around the world including China. However, existing research in China mainly focused on urbanization of growth supremacism, with little attention to urban shrinkage. Therefore, this paper studies the quantitative identification and causes of urban shrinkage in Northeast China during transformation period. First, it quantifies and identifies the phenomenon of urban shrinkage based on ArcGIS and by methods of mathematical statistics from different dimensions based on the population and DMSP/OLS night light data, and different spatial scales including the prefecture scale and county scale. Then it finds that the urban shrinkage in Northeast China takes on the features of universality, imbalance and paradoxical development. Also it is regarded as the pseudo-shrinkage. Secondly, the article owns the urban shrinkage to the integral recession of population, economy and system, the limitation of geography and climate, the growth supremacism inclinations in government and urban planning, and the frequent readjustment of the division of administrative regions. Finally, it suggests that the academia should pay more attention to the following fields, the scientific methods of quantitative identification and localization of urban shrinkage, the urban planning transformation coping with the phenomenon and the sustainable development of shrinking cities.
