以江苏省为研究对象，从常住人口与户籍人口两个层面，对江苏省地级市及区县进行收缩测度识别，发现南通市是江苏省收缩现象最为明显的城市。基于南通市属于人口流入地区与流出地区的边界城市，通过对13 个指标进行主成分分析，探讨南通市的收缩特征，发现南通市是一个伴随着综合实力衰退的收缩城市，主要原因是人口发展水平的持续下降与低水准的城镇发展水平。在此基础上，探讨南通市城市收缩的内在机制，并提出相应的应对策略。 - 关键词：
收缩识别；主成分分析；综合发展；收缩机制；规划策略； - Abstract: Taking Jiangsu province as the research object, this paper identifies the shrinkage of prefecturelevel cities and counties in Jiangsu province from the persistent and registered population levels, and finds that Nantong city is the most obvious shrinkage city in Jiangsu province. Based on the fact that Nantong belongs to the border city between the inflow area and the outflow area, through the principal component analysis of 13 indicators, this paper explores the shrinkage characteristics of Nantong, and finds that Nantong is a shrinking city accompanied by the decline of comprehensive strength, and the main reason is the continuous decline of population development level and the low level of urban development. On this basis, this paper explores the internal mechanism of urban contraction in Nantong, and puts forward corresponding countermeasures.
