工矿小城镇是我国小城镇的重要类型之一，数量多，分布广。文章采用边界维数算法测度工矿小城镇的二维空间形态，进而探析其空间形态在我国的地域分异和形成机制，并总结其类型。结果表明：（1）不同地理环境下的工矿小城镇空间形态具有特异性，其紧凑性呈高原最大、山地其次、丘陵再次、平原最小的特点。（2）工矿小城镇空间形态的地域分异特征具有一定规律，东部区域比西部区域城镇空间更分散，中部区域比南、北部区域城镇空间更发散。（3）工矿小城镇的空间扩张类型可总结为中心扩张、多点扩张和规划填充型等 3 类。 - 关键词：
工矿小城镇；分形理论；地域分异；城镇扩张；空间特征； - Abstract: Industrial and mining towns are one of the important types of small towns in China, with a large number and wide distribution. This paper uses the boundary dimension algorithm to measure the two-dimensional spatial form of industrial and mining towns, and then explores the regional differentiation and formation mechanism of their spatial form in China, and summarizes their types. The results show that: (1) The spatial form of industrial and mining towns in different geographical environments has specificity, with compactness highest on plateaus, followed by mountains, hills, and plains. (2) The regional differentiation characteristics of the spatial form of industrial and mining towns have certain regularities, with more dispersed town spaces in the eastern regions than in the western regions, and more divergent sapces in the central regions compared to the northern and southern regions. (3) The spatial expansion types of industrial and mining towns can be summarized into three categories: central expansion, multi-point expansion and planned infill.
