以实现经济增长为主要目标的中国城市更新由于价值资源匮乏，造成当前众多社会矛盾的积累。从四个角度分析城市更新的本质，希冀这种探讨能够挖掘出深层因素，从而为实现和谐更新打下理论基础。这四个角度是:新马克思主义的一般性原因分析、历史原因分析、地方政府角色分析和制度性原因分析；其中制度性原因分析立足于社会正义理论，按照城市更新项目的发展逻辑进行剖析。 - 关键词：
城市更新；社会正义；资本；制度； - Abstract: For the purpose of economic growth, urban renewal in China is short of value, which leads to the many social conflictions in urban China. The paper analyzes the nature of urban renewal from four aspects, expecting to make some contributions on the theoretical basis for a harmonious society. First of all, the new-Marxims give the general answer that urban renewal is a result of the contradiction of capital accumulation. Then the paper discusses the specific reasons in Chinese cities by historical causes, local authority’s roles and especially the institutional reasons which reflect the theme of social justice.
