提出城市总体规划前期研究具有科学研究与规划导向双重特点。针对城市空间结构研究工作，总结梳理相关理论与研究成果，按物质空间与社会空间归纳研究方法，从形态、实证和政治经济学角度整理研究脉络。在此基础上，结合城市总体规划前期研究工作的目的，提出“理论—资料—分析—规划研究结论—比选方案”的空间结构研究与规划工作框架，并以《巢湖城市总体规划（2009 ～ 2030）》空间结构专题研究为例，探讨总体规划编制中的空间结构研究方法。 - 关键词：
； - Abstract: The prophase research in urban comprehensive planning has both scientific research and planning-oriented features. This paper summarizes related theories and research achievements, generalizes research methods based upon material and social realms and sort out research threads from perspectives of physical forms, demonstrations and political economics. Based on this, in combination with the purpose of prophase research in urban comprehensive planning, the author proposes “Theory-Information-Analyze-Conclusion-Scenarios” framework and exemplifies spatial structure research in “Urban Comprehensive Plan for Chaohu (2009-2030)”, and discusses spatial structure research methods in urban comprehensive planning.
