本文在分析交通方式系统与生态系统相似性的基础上，提出了交通方式生态位概念，探讨了其 内涵，并通过交通方式生态位体积与维数、宽度及重叠三个指标探讨交通方式生态位的测度， 阐述了交通方式生态位的形成与演化，为交通方式系统研究及交通管理系统研究提供新的研究 思路和研究方法。 - 关键词：
生态位；交通方式；交通方式生态位； - Abstract: A new concept of traffic mode niche is put forward, on the basis of analyzing the similarity between traffic mode system and ecosystem. The connotation of traffic mode niche is discussed, and the measurement of traffic mode niche is discussed as well, through three measurement indexes, namely the volume and dimension of traffic mode niche, the width of traffic mode niche, and the overlap of traffic mode niche. The formation and development of traffic mode niche is elaborated, to provide a new research method for the study of traffic mode system and traffic management system.
