1990年代以来，上海城市发展进入新阶段，产生大量的新城市空间实例，对城市环境和公共生活带来极大影响。本文介绍上海新城市空间的发展，包括背景分析、新城市空间主要类型及特点，并选取与日常生活密切相关的新城市空间典型实例深入评析。
本文的目的在于：首先，努力寻找通向人性化公共空间之路；其次，在全球化发展背景下，于新城市空间领域激发想象力与创造力。 - 关键词：
新城市空间；公共空间策略；公共生活；人性场所； - Abstract: Shanghai experiences a dramatic prosperity in the creation of new city spaces since 1990, with the great influence on the city environment and public life, the city evolution of Shanghai comes to a new age. The paper focuses on the development of new city space in Shanghai, ranging from backgrounds, topology,characteristics to the analysis of particular examples that best serve the everyday needs of city communities. The primary purposes of the research are the following: Firstly, to try to find a way leading to the humanized public space.Secondly, to inspire the imagination and creation in the area of new city space against the background of globalization.
