阐述生态城市的实质，对国外建设生态城市的实践和规划管理方案进行分析，并根据上海自身特点，总结有益经验应用于上海生态城市建设。具体从城市森林绿化、交通建设、资源能源、人口结构、管理制度和公众参与方面对上海建设生态城市提出建议。 - 关键词：
生态城市；上海；生态系统；城市规划； - Abstract: Based on the essentials of eco-city, the article analyses the urban plan and practice abroad, summarizes several experiences. To construct eco-type city, Shanghai should regulate every aspect, such as forest and virescence, traffic, resource, population, administration, public participation and so on.
