南京是中国的著名古都，但在历史进程中南京老城已经发生了较大的变化，本文分析了南京老城的历史价值和保护中存在的问题，探讨了老城保护与更新平衡协调的关系，提出了保护与更新协调发展的对策。 - 关键词：
老城；保护；更新；发展； - Abstract: Nanjing is a world famous ancient capital in China. In the long history of development, Nanjing has experienced great changes, particularly in the inner city. The paper discusses the historic value of the inner city and the problems existing in the conservation, explores the relationship of the conservation and the renewal, and gives the countermeasures to make them harmony.
