本文首先对国内学者的社区研究作了回顾，在社会经济转型的宏大背景下，边缘社区日益受到关注；但对于高速增长的深圳市而言，经济总量的急剧增长和人口的急速膨胀带来的却是社会的失衡，促进社区（尤其是边缘社区——“城中村”）的可持续发展成为当务之急，社区物质环境改善与居民民主文化素质提高相并重而成为深圳市社区可持续发展的目标。 - 关键词：
经济高速增长；社区变迁；可持续发展； - Abstract: The paper reviews firstly the studies on community in China and finds that the marginalized community has drawn much attention on in the socio-economic transition. For Shenzhen city, the high-speed increase of GDP and the explosive floating population has generated the social inequality or the social segregation. So how to make community (esp. the urban village) develop sustainable becomes the first step for the socio-economic healthful promotion of the whole city. The renewal of physical space is not enough for social equality. The progress of democracy awakening and education level of all peoples should be emphasized.
