汕头位于潮汕文化区，是我国五大经济特区之一，从1861年开埠至今，汕头文化在这个城市经济的起落过程中不可避免地充当了诱因，同时也随经济环境、社会环境的变化而随之产生变革。对汕头城市经济发展过程中的文化背景进行分析，有利于在汕头城市规划工作中，科学地完成城市文化的重构和创新。 - 关键词：
潮汕文化；文化重构；文化转向； - Abstract: Shantou is one of the five Special Economy Zones in China, and belongs to Chaoshan culture region. Shantou culture was the inducement of city economy developing, and influenced by the changing economy and social circumstances. It is useful to analysis the cultural background of the Shantou city economy to reconstitute and innovate city culture scientifically in the city planning.
