目前长三角都市圈已形成比较合理的“宝塔型”的6级城镇体系。但是与国际上发育成熟的都市圈相比较，其城镇体系等级规模结构仍存在一些问题，如城镇人口规模偏小导致城市的集中度不高、中小城市城市化水平偏低、都市圈内部南北发展不均衡等。因此，今后需要扩大中心城市上海的人口规模，以进一步发挥大都市圈的集聚效应；作为都市圈南北两翼的中心，南京、杭州、苏州和宁波的人口规模需要有较大增长；同时要加速中小城市的发展和中心镇的培育。 - 关键词：
长江三角洲；都市圈；城镇体系；规模； - Abstract: This paper makes an accidence study on the scale structure of urban system in the area of the Yangtze River Delta. It analyzes the current situation and existent issues of scale structure of the urban system, provides countermeasures and advices in order to perfect the urban scale structure and to build the rational urban system.
