美国城市交通规划经过近百年的发展，已形成较为完善的城市交通规划理论与技术体系。本文以社会经济发展为研究背景，以发展阶段为时间主线，从相关政策、政府组织结构和规划技术研究等角度对美国城市交通规划发展历程进行回顾，并总结对我国城市交通规划发展的经验启示。 - 关键词：
城市交通规划；交通政策；编制办法；规划技术； - Abstract: With almost a hundred years’ development, the urban transportation planning in United States has made great achievements, including the fundamental theory research and application of advanced technologies. Under the background of urban social and economic development, this paper analyzes U.S. urban transportation planning development with the consideration of policies, government organizations and planning technologies, etc. Finally, some suggestions are provided to improve our urban transportation planning activities in China.
