城市内涵式增长和外延式扩展已成为当今城市空间增长的两大重要形式。其中，以各类综合性新区、新型产业空间为代表的城市新区在城市空间增长中发挥了重要作用，也逐渐成为大城市郊区化的重要空间载体。论文通过选取 951 个城市新区作为研究对象，探讨了我国改革开放以来新区开发的演变进程，并从空间扩展方式、产业功能更新、空间关系演进、管理机制更替 4个方面论述了新区的演变特征。同时，论文还对新区开发的动力机制进行了初步探讨。 - 关键词：
城市新区；空间增长；演化特征；改革开放；中国； - Abstract: Intensive growth and extensive growth are the two most important manners of the urban spatial growth. New urban district has played an important role in the process of the urban spatial growth, and has been one of the important receptors of suburbanization. By taking 951 new urban districts as the research object, the paper describes the evolutional course of Chinese new urban district since 1978, and discusses its evolution characteristics from space expansion pattern, industrial function, spatial relationship and management mechanism. Finally, the paper has a preliminary investigation on its mechanisms.
