运用探索性空间数据分析 (ESDA) 方法，在工具型软件 ArcGIS 9.3 与空间统计分析软件 GeoDa 的支持下，对中原经济区 28 个地级市的城镇化水平进行空间相关性与空间差异分析。通过计算局部空间自相关，揭示了中原经济区城镇化水平空间异质性，及各地级市之间的相互作用在区域差异中的影响。据此，提出了提高城镇化水平的建议。 - 关键词：
中原经济区；探索性空间数据分析；城镇化；空间自相关； - Abstract: By using the methods of exploratory spatial data analysis in support of the software ArcGIS 9.3 and Spatial statistical analysis software GeoDa, this article analyzes the spatial correlation and spatial differences on the level of urbanization of the 28 prefecture-level city in the central plains economic region. By calculating the local spatial autocorrelation, this article revealed the spatial heterogeneity of the level of urbanization of the central plains economic region, and the interaction between the regional differences in every city. Accordingly, this article offered some suggestions to improve the level of urbanization.
