城乡统筹发展本质是实现城乡一体化发展，其实现有赖于推进城镇化。传统粗放式、速度型城镇化不可持续，新型集约式、质量型城镇化呼之欲出。新型城镇化是有别于传统的可持续发展的城镇化新模式，已成为重庆经济社会发展最为强力的助推器，如何选择推进路径便显得尤为重要。重庆新型城镇化路径选择需要结合区域实际，分清推进的优劣势，坚持“一个统领，五个重点”原则，运用协调路径、高效路径、多样路径三条路径组合推进，最终实现重庆城乡一体化发展。 - 关键词：
新型城镇化；协调；高效；多样；路径；重庆； - Abstract: The nature of urban and rural integrated development is to achieve integration of urban and rural development, and its realization depends on promoting urbanization. The traditional extensive urbanization speed type is unsustainable, and a new type of intensive, quality-oriented urbanization is needed. New urbanization is a new sustainable model that is different from the traditional urbanization, and it has become the most powerful boosters of the economic and social development in Chongqing .The path selection of Chongqing new urbanization requires a combination of regional realities, distinguishes the advantages and disadvantages, sticks to "a commanding and five keys" principle With the push of coordination path, efficient path and diverse path, the Integrated development of urban and rural areas of Chongqing can be achieved.
