地名不仅仅是一个指示空间单元的符号，亦是地方传统、文化、精神的传递者。在全球化日益深化和区域之间竞争不断加剧的今天，地名更改成为中国地方政府增强城市影响力、促进经济快速发展寻求的重要手段之一。本文在分析地名和地名景观内涵的基础上，借鉴国外学者对地名和地名景观研究的成果，梳理了中国地名更改的演化过程和当前中国地名更改中存在的现实问题，从人本主义城市规划理念出发，指出了未来中国地名更改的解决思路和方向，以期为城市经营者提供必要的参考和借鉴。 - 关键词：
城市化；地名；地名变更；人本主义； - Abstract: Place name is not only a symbol of indicating a spatial unit, but also a transmitter of local tradition, culture and spirit. Today, with the development of globalization and fierce competition among regions and cities, the change of place name has become one of the necessary means of local government in China to enhance the influence of cities and accelerate the economic development. In this article, based on the analysis on connotation of place names, the author implemented the analysis of the evolution process of place name changing and the problems existing in place name changing in China by using some research achievements of foreign scholars. Furthermore, the resolution and direction of place name changing have been put forward in order to provide some references and warnings of city stakeholders.
