由于受历史、发展水平及规划理论相对滞后等因素影响，我国城市的公共空间体系没有较好地与城市大规模扩张、城市居民生活方式的改变相适应。本文对墨尔本城市公共空间体系进行了分类与特征分析，对其基于层级、网络与功能理论指导下的城市公共空间规划理论进行分析与解读，以期其较系统的规划理论与方法能够对我国城市公共空间系统规划、空间功能优化与城市公共空间景观多样性发展起到积极的借鉴作用。 - 关键词：
公共空间；功能；特征；层级；网络； - Abstract: Influenced by some factors such as history and development level, the Chinese urban public space system can’t accommodate the massive degree of overspreading and its citizen’s changing lifestyle due to its inability to optimize functioning. In this paper, we examine the public space system of Melbourne based on its characteristics. Furthermore, we analyze the urban public space planning theory based on some frame of references such as gradation, network and function. In doing so, we hope to bring the active and prodding functions to the system planning, function optimization and landscape diversity of our urban public space.
