空间句法理论对空间结构的定量化表达使它逐渐成为城市设计与城市规划的重要工具。其理论基石“自然出行原则”认为，塑造城市使用者运动模式的主要因素并不是特定的土地利用，而是街道网络的空间结构关系。以杭州的实证调研为例，测试了该原则在中国的适用性，对其街道网络建模方法的三类难题进行分析讨论，提出一方面我们应该通过更多实证案例对该建模方法进行本土化调试；另一方面可以利用这种模型的包容度，进行更好的设计决策。 - 关键词：
自然出行；步行者；自行车使用者；空间结构；决策模型； - Abstract: Space syntax has become an important tool for urban design and urban planning. The basic law “natural movement” argues that the geometrical and topological structure of street network is the most powerful shaper of urban movement patterns. This research organized a systematic behavior survey in the city of Hangzhou, to explore the applicability of the natural movement principle of space syntax in Chinese context, and to discuss three types of challenges of the modeling method. It is proposed that more empirical case studies should be implemented to refine the modeling technique to suit the Chinese context, and the model should be recognized as a strategic spatial model that can facilitate the process of design decision making
