城市更新是城市可持续发展政策的重要组成部分。英国是较早开展城市更新实践的国家，文章详细阐述了英国城市更新实践的典型做法，着重对城市更新过程中的土地用途管制、历史遗迹保护与传承、更新全生命周期管理、现代城市发展理念及发挥市场机制作用等方面进行了分析，汲取实践中成功的发展经验，以期对我国推进新型城镇化高质量发展、优化挖潜存量土地利用提供有益的借鉴与参考。 - 关键词：
英国；城市更新；规划许可；启示；借鉴； - Abstract: Urban renewal is an important part of urban sustainable development policy. The United Kingdom is the country that carried out urban renewal practices earlier. The article elaborated on typical British urban renewal practices, focusing on land use control, historical heritage protection and inheritance, renewal life cycle management, and modern urban development concepts in the process of urban renewal. It analyzes the role of market mechanism, and draws on the successful development experience in practice, in order to provide a useful reference for China to promote the high-quality development of new-type urbanization and optimize the utilization of the land.
