In this perspective, based on the summary of the core features of the evolution of rural areas in urban fringe, the multi-scale spatial path of rural transformation in urban fringe is explored at three levels: urban area, industrial park, and community. The paths are: urban-rural integration to promote the reorganization of spatial structure, industrial transformation to support the integration of spatial layout, and people¡¯s needs to lead the creation of quality life. Finally, taking the northern expansion area of Liyang as an example, this paper proposes the planning strategy of the multi-scale synergy of the rural area in urban fringe with the framework of ¡°integrating into the city - linking to the park - activating the community¡±, to provide possible reference for the rural transformation and new urbanization of China.
